Are you a REALTOR who CARES about their clients?

The time to step up is now. We need YOUR help to convince REALTOR.com to stop holding our clients hostage and to TAKE BACK OUR “R”. Here are some practical steps that can go a LONG way to helping us (and they will help YOU as well!)

  1. SIGN THE PETITION This is the first step. We need to show REALTOR.com how many people are upset with their treatment of our clients and our brand.
  2. ADD THE “TAKE IT BACK” BADGE TO YOUR BLOG This is HUGE. We need all the exposure we can get. We’d really appreciate you spreading the message of Take Back Our “R” by adding our badge on your blog.
  3. TALK TO OTHER LOCAL REALTORS AND GET THEM TO SIGN The key to getting REALTOR.com to change their ways and for us to TAKE BACK OUR “R” is Strength in Numbers. Talk to other REALTORS in your office and in other offices.
  4. TALK TO YOUR LOCAL BOARD Did you know that several boards of REALTORS around the country have actually stopped sending their data feeds to REALTOR.com? While we are not recommending that (yet), talking and participating with your local board and making them AWARE of the effort to change things is a GREAT way to get involved. Better yet? Get
  5. TAKE IT TO THE PRESS Find a local member of the media and let them KNOW what we are up to. You would be surprised how fast they will respond! An added bonus is that this gives YOU some exposure as well!
  6. LET US KNOW! Do you have a success story in bringing awareness to this issue? Let us know! By telling your story to others, we can bring an even brighter spotlight to the cause.
